Our Daycare takes pride in its reputation and strives to uphold and promote values and principles, which encompass fairness, honesty and professionalism.
We believe our community is richly diverse and will strive to make our daycare a positive place to establish an and provide fair treatment to all. Our aim is to establish an environment, which has a positive influence on each child, helping them to become more creative, responsible, independent and well rounded resilient individuals.
We will do our very best to strive for excellence in meeting the specific needs of children and their families, nurturing growth, development, relationships and understanding. Our beliefs are rooted in early childhood teaching principles.
1) All children have the right to feel good about themselves and it is the responsibility of all teachers to nurture the child's self esteem.
2) The home is the most important factor in a childs development. We will always strive to support and complement the family in order to promote the healthy development of children.
3) Loving, trusting and respecting each child enables that child to love, trust and respect others. Each child and family is due the respect for personal privacy demanded by professional ethics.
4)Each child is a unique individual and his or her own needs. Each person has a right to meed this need their own way and in their own time. However, one of the responsibilities of having rights is recognising and respecting the rights of others.
5)Children deserve teachers who are capable and caring and who's values enable them to be excellent role models. Our educational and guidance decisions must be based on knowledge of child development.
6) It is important to meed each childs needs for physical, social emotional and intellectual growth by providing diverse experiences in a supportive environment
